This scene is Green learned his first sacred treasure weapon: Pick (百鬼夜行) when he tried to save his friends from Asma with Fire ball spin, his strong willing to help his friends turn him into 6 star and unleash Pick (Instead of Fire ball spin.) It fatally struck Asma and stopped him from spreading nightmares. (Pick can stun the opponent when it struck.)
